Job success with Next

This month, we held a 3-day Retail Skills for Employment training course, delivered by our lovely Retail Instructor Janet.

"I delivered a 3-day Retail Skills for Employment training course in September, and had the pleasure of meeting a small cohort of learners who were eager to find work at Bluewater.

Having brushed up their knowledge around effective CV writing, interview techniques in the current climate, completing online assessments and visual merchandising, they were offered the chance to meet an employer and have a guaranteed interview.

On the third day of the course, two members of the recruitment team from Next came into the group training session, providing the cohort with an overview of the company, positions available and chance for Q&A.

Three learners had an interview afterwards and were successful".
